Communities Connected

Convenience is key at Riverbrook. The development is just a few minutes from Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city and a real cultural hotspot of the sunny Southeast. This compact city, known for its friendly, welcoming community spirit, has everything – from great shopping to plenty of well-established restaurants, cafés and bars. Regular festivals add to the vibrancy of this busy city, day and night – there’s always something going on!

The sense of community is felt even closer to home too. Riverbrook is located in Ferrybank, a vibrant and growing neighbourhood north of the River Suir. Several local schools are well established in the local area, along with many community amenities including Ferrybank GAA Club and Ferrybank AFC – famously the childhood club of ex Ireland international footballer John O’Shea. Aldi, a soon-to-be-opened Dunnes Stores and a proposed new shopping centre add to the convenience of this attractive locality.

One of the area’s best amenities is the Waterford Greenway, a spectacular 46km off-road cycling and walking trail that connects Waterford to the coastal town of Dungarvan. The South East Greenway, which is currently being developed, further enhances the region’s outdoor appeal, extending the network from Waterford City towards New Ross and offering even more scenic routes for walking and cycling enthusiasts.

Cities Connected

Just Minutes From
Waterford Train Station
To say that Waterford is a well-connected city is something of an understatement. The M9 motorway provides a fast link to Dublin, while Cork is easily reached via the N25. A host of bus providers offers both local and national services, ideal for the commuter or student. Direct rail services operate between Waterford Railway Station and Dublin, as well as Limerick Junction, from where Galway, Cork and Killarney are easily accessed. Closer to home, a new train station is scheduled to open soon in Ferrybank, while a pedestrian bridge will improve connectivity to the city centre even further.
